New song/poem

They say stay pure,
Silver round your fingers,
Got truly love waits engraved,
But can you hold back the hate,
From those people, the ones ofdisgrace
Can you truly say, I...Ima wait,
'Cause love is something precious,
And I hope you keep it that way.

Sorry I've been gone.

Going to start writing reviews for books I receive from authors before they're released to the public. How exciting? (: I have, so far, received 2 books, by email because they are eBooks. I should be expecting at least 1, or 2 by mail shortly, in a few weeks. Be awaiting the arrival of my first review! :D

Hello, yes, it's me. Please take a journey into every book nerds life (female). (:

You should date a girl who reads.
Date a girl who reads. Date a girl who spends her money on books instead of clothes, who has problems with closet space because she has too many books. Date a girl who has a list of books she wants to read, who has had a library card since she was twelve.

Find a girl who reads. You’ll know that she does because she will always have an unread book in her bag. She...’s the one lovingly looking over the shelves in the bookstore, the one who quietly cries out when she has found the book she wants. You see that weird chick sniffing the pages of an old book in a secondhand book shop? That’s the reader. They can never resist smelling the pages, especially when they are yellow and worn.

She’s the girl reading while waiting in that coffee shop down the street. If you take a peek at her mug, the non-dairy creamer is floating on top because she’s kind of engrossed already. Lost in a world of the author’s making. Sit down. She might give you a glare, as most girls who read do not like to be interrupted. Ask her if she likes the book.

Buy her another cup of coffee.

Let her know what you really think of Murakami. See if she got through the first chapter of Fellowship. Understand that if she says she understood James Joyce’s Ulysses she’s just saying that to sound intelligent. Ask her if she loves Alice or she would like to be Alice.

It’s easy to date a girl who reads. Give her books for her birthday, for Christmas, for anniversaries. Give her the gift of words, in poetry and in song. Give her Neruda, Pound, Sexton, Cummings. Let her know that you understand that words are love. Understand that she knows the difference between books and reality but by god, she’s going to try to make her life a little like her favorite book. It will never be your fault if she does.

She has to give it a shot somehow.

Lie to her. If she understands syntax, she will understand your need to lie. Behind words are other things: motivation, value, nuance, dialogue. It will not be the end of the world.

Fail her. Because a girl who reads knows that failure always leads up to the climax. Because girls who read understand that all things must come to end, but that you can always write a sequel. That you can begin again and again and still be the hero. That life is meant to have a villain or two.

Why be frightened of everything that you are not? Girls who read understand that people, like characters, develop. Except in the Twilight series.

If you find a girl who reads, keep her close. When you find her up at 2 AM clutching a book to her chest and weeping, make her a cup of tea and hold her. You may lose her for a couple of hours but she will always come back to you. She’ll talk as if the characters in. the book are real, because for a while, they always are.

You will propose on a hot air balloon. Or during a rock concert. Or very casually next time she’s sick. Over Skype.

You will smile so hard you will wonder why your heart hasn’t burst and bled out all over your chest yet. You will write the story of your lives, have kids with strange names and even stranger tastes. She will introduce your children to the Cat in the Hat and Aslan, maybe in the same day. You will walk the winters of your old age together and she will recite Keats under her breath while you shake the snow off your boots.

Date a girl who reads because you deserve it. You deserve a girl who can give you the most colorful life imaginable. If you can only give her monotony, and stale hours and half-baked proposals, then you’re better off alone. If you want the world and the worlds beyond it, date a girl who reads.

Or better yet, date a girl who writes.”

― Rosemarie Urquico

Anyone? Hello? No? Fine! ): I still have my true friends, *opens up beginning of book*.

"If you find a girl who reads, keep her close. When you find her up at 2 AM clutching a book to her chest and weeping, make her a cup of tea and hold her. You may lose her for a couple of hours but she will always come back to you. She’ll talk as if the characters in the book are real, because for a while, they always are." - Rosemarie Urquico
This is only a small portion of her quote. I'll post the real version.

New Song/Poem! (:

I've seen what our lives and others can do,
Of memories cast out,
Left the walk the Earth all alone

Sorry, I've had 2 tabs with this open on them all morning. I've been mowing, and this is the first real break I've had. I'm just going to post it.
(To be continued - I promise!)

Oh Tony,

Blogging at 10:40, is surely considered 2am, correct? ;p

New poem/song! (:

Oh, of this feeling inside,
Dropping off my shoulder like a bomb,
Being encase in the connection,
of our two palms.

(To be continued, hopefully)

Thou art I am to be

Getting inside of me, is like breaking through a brick wall. That's why I don't know how to live. I can't beat the wise, or take the prize, because I'm a ball of putty, rolled up and left to dry. The cold, hard piece of clay you wished you'd never touched.

Just for fun. ^.^ ~ Banana

Oh, of your yellow flesh,
The greatness hiding inside,
Of the beautiful brown spots,
That cover your coating

Oh, the flavor that tingles my taste buds
The one that's yellow,
Sometimes brown
Of the mushy stuff I love the eat,
The wonder fruit,
Banana

Not poem style, but it rhymes. (:

Where my people at? Oh, I don't have any. Guess I'll :* (kiss) air and put my fist way up high. Just gonna let this problem slide on by. Waving to the haters, thinking they can steal my smile. Well, go ahead and shoot me, I'll be glad to fire back when I'm walking down the aisle. Ain't seen a fighter like me, haha, look what you got yourself into honey.

Wrote this in school 1

Who is the girl you really knew?

Today I don a frown,
It shadows my shame
Today I don a smile,
It covers my pain
Today I don everything,
So vague and there
It pours out,
Wet and clear

Do you know the real me?
Take a look upon this poem
It shows you, tried and true
Open your eyes
Read carefully
Who was the girl you really knew?

Okay, so, an update for my Stories page

Mrs. Fleury, you don't have to read these, unless you want to; they're going to be the ones I wrote this year. To everyone else, please comment what you think, I will begin posting them today. Enjoy! (:

Saturday, May 31, 2014

Dear, Mrs. Fleury.

I didn't like you. Liked you. Hated you. But in the end it was all good. I'm really going to miss you. To be honest, the Turkish teachers don't really teach good. :/ Geez. Emotions. So emotional right now. I'm a bit hysterical right about now to (or too, haven't gotten the hang of 'too' yet.) , since all my friends are graduating and leaving, and now you, and all the other teachers. ): *Sigh.* Life.
Yeah, sorry about the grammar, or whatever you call it up there. ^^^^ Editing, I guess.

Homeless

Oh, of the garbage I call home
The smell that emanates is pleasing,
My home,
My life
You cannot take it away from me

(Possibly to be continued)

Monday, May 19, 2014

I don't know, don't ask. It's something. :/ Writers block is a bummer!

I can count the stars,
Shining so bright tonight
Way high in the sky
Just waving goodbye
When the sun comes
To wipe them all away

New Somg/Poem whatever you want to call it

I've been thinking about you all night long,
Just can't get you out of my mind
Not when I hear your voice,
Nor when I see your smile

It gives me butterflies,
To know I got such a friend,
Who accepts my love for them
And even kindles a bit of his own
To we show we got the best
Friendship of all

Ain't that what everyone's looking for?
Someone to hold you,
To be there for
To show they care
Just as much you do about them

*Note to the viewers*
Now, we all have a best friend, or two. I want you to call/text/meet/talk to that person today (or tomorrow, if it's night time for you) and tell them how much they mean to you. The guy in this song/poem ^^ He lives 8 hours away from me. I only get to see him 1 time a year. And it's so important that we see each other, since we only get 1 chance a year. We haven't spoke in weeks now. That's scary, considering our distance, and how close we are. I'm sure things are fine, but I want EVERYONE WHO READS MY TESTIMONIES to tell your closest friend how much they mean to you. ✊✊✊✊❤❤❤❤❤

Y"all enjoy your morning/evening. I'll be back on to post before I go to school. See you in 2 hours/ 2 and 1/2 hours from now.

TO ALL

I'd like to know who's seeing my page. It's cool, but I'm getting all these views and I keep thinkin', "who are these people." Could y'all please comment below? I mean, no offense, but it makes me think y'all are creepers or somethin'.

New song! (:

I love the way you hug me,
So warm and tight
Nothing escape, no
That's the cold doesn't come
when I'm with you
Just the closeness of us two

(To be continued...)
Sorry, it's 1:40am.

Mistakes (I don't even know if this would be considered a poem anymore, lol, I started to make it sound like a speech.)

People do make mistakes
We're all alike
It's what God gave us
When he started the form of man
A mind to make decisions,
One to choose between right and wrong

Yeah,
You know,
Things have changed,
You've confessed this a thousand times

So, I decide to challenge?
Why, yes
And, so what?
Like it's not our human nature to fight back
You've been fighting me for years,
It's time I fought back
And yes I'll be the smartass
Since you think it off me,
Attached to every letter spoke of my tongue

Oh, someone's feelings got hurt
You feel that?
Damn
Did that hurt?
You want a napkin little baby?
I know right, it hurt didn't it?
See now, how you feel?
Want to run away a go hid in a corner?
Cause' that's what you do to me
So suffer willingly
Please, please, please

Oh yeah,
Those tears are real right?
I don't care
Not like you cared about mine

Yo soy fuego (I am fire)

So now,
I'm that person you can talk about
Behind these walls
Like I don't have ears to hear,
Or a mouth to speak my mind,
Like, wait
I'm that idiot
Remember?
I'm the moron who goes to the nerd school
That makes the b's and a's
That's the best teen runner you'll ever know
Because, no,
I'm not a part of you
I'm that distant person,
The adopted one,
The, "This is mi Vida (my life)."
But, no,
This is the idiot,
The one who refuses to behave,
The hated,
The burned,
The beaten,
The slaved,
The worked,
The overheated,
The whore,
The bitch
The one you never looked in the eye
Because you knew you would see the fire,
The flame that burns in me
Because of you, because of the world
I am the way I am, because of everything around me
You can't stop it, you can't reverse it

Leave me alone
Don't come back,
Asking for a plea of grace
No,
Because I won't give it to you
The Lord says, "Do this out of the greatness of your heart."
But I have the hardest time accepting,
"I..."
"Me..."
"You want me..."
"...To be nice... to this person?..."
"Ha... try no! You see what he's done to me, what they've all done."
"Learn forgiveness."

(To be continued later.....)

What I am to you

I see now what I am
The one most hated
The one you so wish wouldn't have come

See now what I am to you,
The idiot,
The disgrace,
The one you so wish wouldn't have come

I can't believe I'm here,
You should have kicked me years ago
You should have took that needle,
The injection,
The medicine meant to hurt me

Because I'm just that unneeded material
The extra thread bared by your shorts,
The unused couple of inches,
The one you so wish wouldn't have come

Something new. Title (Unknown) Don't know what to put. Feel like this could be more of a song, than a poem though...

Baby I try to listen
But I don't see your face anymore
No, not like you got the decency
To be a part of me

All gussied up
With your pearls and makeup
Going to see that fellow
The one that makes you feel good inside,
But know you're doing wrong
Deceiving me and everyone around

Today, look up
See the Lords eyes near your
Wipe the tears from his face and baby walk away
From the bad inside, from the bad circling you

Yeah!
I don't want you to get hurt
I know how much it means
But to know what he's doin'
Hun it's time to stop!
He's gong ripe your heart
And throw it on the floor like nothing
Yeah, he doesn't care

Sweetheart, listen

All gussied up
With your pearls and makeup
Going to see that fellow
The one that makes you feel good inside,
But know you're doing wrong
Deceiving me and everyone around

Today, look up
See the Lords eyes near your
Wipe the tears from his face and baby walk away
From the bad inside, from the bad circling you

Bullet ~ Roughdraft (Also can be sung)

Shan't I see the smile on your face
When you hold the gun to my head,
See the bullet flash through my brain,
My body hit the floor
Watch the blood seep out
Stain the carpet like wine
Hear the sirens
See now, what I told you?
Don't let the bullet win
You'll be caught by midnight
Smile through the bars,
See my face in yours,
Invisible but to your eyes only
Grab air
Seems like you dropped me off the earth, yet knowing
You'll never see me again
But that's from your perspective
You'll never know what it's like
This side of the world,
The one above
The known Heaven that steps over all

I know in your anger and rage, you thought about it
This murder you committedly played in your mind,
As I held you while you cried,
The relapse you felt as I stroked your face
You never loved me, but I'll always love you
See what you miss?
The most cared for, yet you hated your life
Of the anger and power that surged through your bones
Thought you could rule the world
But taking it too far
You found hope in the handle,
Decided to pull the trigger
Became your biggest fear,
But you welcomed it
See now, what you've become?
The crazy man,
The murderer,
The one who wishes to be the corrupt person
The one dreaming to say his vows
To the one sitting across the room
The one that hit his heart,
That grabbed it

Delicate as a flower
With thorns you threw at me
Saw them puncture my skin
And I prayed over the way they wounded me
Hoped they'd never come again
To leave scars amongst by body
All torn and bloody,

(To be continued.....)

(Unknown title) Don't know what to call it.

I don't talk to the world
I talk to myself

I pull my head down
To stop it from spinning around

In so much chaos,
Does it do me good?
To know how to stop
To know what to do
To see the future,
A hair lengths from my face
To be held in my hand
Like the fathers grace

Christian song. Started as a poem, can be sung, and read as a poem. Currently adding to it. Enjoy. (: Name: (Unknown) Please suggest what I can add to it! Thanks!

There's a name
that changed the world
Today
Tomorrow, yesterday
And he's coming
In a leather-bound book
Full of stories
Waiting to be read, waiting to be said,
Waiting to be shared

And my dear,
please don't ever think you are alone
He's here, always staying
On this journey you call life

And if you ever feel like talking
Just shout out to him!
He'll be right here,
To wipe away every single tear

(Unknown title) Don't know what to call it.

When the sadness comes out
Darkness grabs me
It pulls me into an embrace
And sucks me in

I break free
Hold my chin up
Crack a smile
But it comes right back,
You can't hide

Writen by my friend Nancy. Title: (Unknown)

Why do I do the things I do you're asking
is the same reason of why
I say what I say
you can like me or not
I don't care, and I won't care
And I can like you if I want
as long as you don't get
on my bad side
You can be nice
You can be mean
Just as long as I can be me

(Unknown title) Don't know what to call it.

What am I doing?
I'm writing my life away
With pencils and scrap paper
Crumbled into balls,
Thrown into halls
Looking for an answer,
One I can't reach by myself

(Unknown title) Don't know what to call it. Also can be sung. Currently, still adding to this one.

What do I have to live for?
I'm dying,
Locked behind these doors

I can't push them open,
The words
Have already been spoken

They send out the beast
It's running towards me
I don't know what to do
I try to break free

It's coming
I  see it
The flame burning it its eyes
It reaches down to my soul
Grabs, and pulls ahold

What can I do?
I'm drowning in this fear
Slumped against a cold, hard wall

Trying

I try to give you signs
Of the pain that covers my cries

You never want to listen
I turn the music up louder
You don't give two cents

You know what?
Fine, I don't care
Keep watching me
Picking up the pieces
Rewinding history
It plays one,
Over and over

Please notice however,
It's you who fuels it
